Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking per diem Certified Nurse-Midwives to provide high-quality, compassionate care for our ethnically and culturally diverse birthing patients and newborns across Clinic, Labor & Delivery and Birth Center settings.

Qualified candidates hold a master’s degree, are RN-licensed, and certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board; ideally two years of full-scope midwifery experience and Birth Center exposure.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing and CNM certification required
• Licensed RN in Massachusetts
• BLS certification required
• Two years of full-scope midwifery experience preferred
• Birth Center experience preferred
• NPR status preferred
• Bilingual skills preferred

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking per diem Certified Nurse-Midwives to proudly provide high-quality, compassionate, and personalized care for our ethnically and culturally diverse birthing patients and newborns.

Highlights

• Provide full-scope midwifery care (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and GYN) in Clinic, Labor & Delivery and/or Birth Center
• Per Diem: clinic days: 8 hour shift, L&D/Birth Center: 12 hour shifts
• Locations: Cambridge, Somerville, Everett and Revere
• MNA Cambridge Union position: ability to work 3 shifts per month
• Competitive hourly rate ranging from $64-$116 based on years of experience

Qualified candidates will have a master’s degree, are registered nurse licensed, obtained certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board, and ideally have two years of experience providing full scope midwifery care as a certified nurse-midwife. Birth center experience preferred as well as experience with newborns. Current Basic Life Support C certification and NPR status is required. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required. However, a commitment to caring for everyone, every time is essential.
