Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking per diem Certified Nurse-Midwives to provide high-quality, compassionate, and individualized care for birthing patients and newborns in our diverse communities.

Responsibilities include full-scope midwifery across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and GYN, with shifts in Clinic, Labor & Delivery, and Birth Center. Per diem positions offer flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay ranging from $64 to $116, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and CNM certification, RN license required.
• Birth center experience preferred; 2+ years in full-scope midwifery.
• Current BLS (C) certification and NPR status required.
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required.
• Commitment to caring for everyone, every time.

Responsibilities

Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking per diem Certified Nurse-Midwives to proudly provide high-quality, compassionate, and personalized care for our ethnically and culturally diverse birthing patients and newborns.

Highlights

• Provide full-scope midwifery care (antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and GYN) in Clinic, Labor & Delivery and/or Birth Center
• Per Diem: clinic days: 8 hour shift, L&D/Birth Center: 12 hour shifts
• Locations: Cambridge, Somerville, Everett and Revere
• MNA Cambridge Union position: ability to work 3 shifts per month
• Competitive hourly rate ranging from $64-$116 based on years of experience

Qualified candidates will have a master’s degree, are registered nurse licensed, obtained certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board, and ideally have two years of experience providing full scope midwifery care as a certified nurse-midwife. Birth center experience preferred as well as experience with newborns. Current Basic Life Support “C” certification and NPR status is required. Bilingual skills are preferred but not required. However, a commitment to caring for everyone, every time is essential.
