Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife for a full‑time role at Mercy Women's Clinic. The CNM will provide labor support, water birth and VBAC/TOLAC services, in collaboration with obstetric and maternal‑fetal medicine colleagues. Expect 40–50 births each month across the system.

The role emphasizes natural birth experiences within hospital settings, with adherence to ACNM standards and Minnesota law. Includes professional liability coverage including tail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing required.
• Master's degree or doctoral in nursing or related field preferred.
• Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required on hire.
• AMCB American Midwifery Certification Board required on hire.

Job Summary

Join our growing Certified Nurse Midwife team in the North suburbs. Our CNM's provide care including pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum period, immediate care of the newborn following birth, family planning and gynecologic needs. They ensure coordination of care for the patient in collaboration with other Perinatal, Neonatal and Birth Center team members.

Job Description:

Principle Responsibilities

• CNM group independently provides labor support, water birth and VBAC/TOLAC services

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing required

• Master's degree or doctoral in nursing or related field preferred

• Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire

• Current BLS certification with AHA, ARC or Allina in-house BLS training within 30 days of hire

• AMCB American Midwifery Certification Board upon hire required

Pay Range

Pay Range: $130,000 to $145,000 per yearThe pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
