Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD is hiring a CNA – Certified Nurse Assistant for the Acute Care unit. This full-time, 36-hour weekly position offers a 12-hour day shift (7am–7pm) with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

The CNA works under a nurse to perform routine nursing functions, collect data during assessments, and coordinate care within the department. Qualifications include Maryland CNA licensure, a high school diploma, and BLS certification.

Description

• The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works under the delegated authority of a registered nurse to perform a nursing function within their scope of practice and assist the nurse in collecting data for a nursing assessment under the supervision of a nurse.

What You Will Need

• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board for Certified Nursing Assistant
• High School Diploma
• BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association)
• Computer and audiovisual skills using various applications and technologies: Internet, email, word processing, wireless phone, pager.
• Ability to obtain and retrieve data.
• Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize, ability to work well with individuals and groups.

Pay Range: $18.65 – $23.85

Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
