St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant for our Med Surg Unit located at the Edgewood Hospital. This full-time role involves 60 hours bi-weekly with shifts from 7A-3P or 7A-7P.

The CNA provides direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN direction, assisting with activities of daily living and maintaining a safe, clean environment. Requires state CNA certification, English proficiency, and CPR.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA certification in the state of work.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Successful completion of required state CNA courses and exam.
• Current CPR certification for professional rescuer.

Responsabilités

Job Summary:

Job Description:

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN:

• Assists patients with activities of daily living
• Provides patients personal care and comfort
• Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients

Qualifications

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

• Certified in the state where work is being performed as Certified Nurse Assistant
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Completion of applicable state courses.
• Successful completion of Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
• Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry
• Must have CPR for the professional rescuer

Specialized Knowledge:

• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.
