SEH Saint Elizabeth Medical Center, Inc. in Ft. Thomas, KY is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for our Med Surg Unit.

Shift options include three 12-hour shifts (7A-7P) or three 8-hour shifts plus one 12-hour shift, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. The CNA provides direct patient care under RN/LPN supervision, assists with activities of daily living, maintains a safe environment, and supports compassionate care across our hospital in the Northern Kentucky region.

Qualifications

• Certified in the state as a CNA and able to read and communicate in English.
• Completion of applicable state CNA courses and CNA exam.
• Not listed on the State Abuse Registry and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides personal care and comfort to patients.
• Maintains a safe, clean environment for assigned patients.

Job Summary

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant for our Med Surg Unit located within the Ft. Thomas Hospital. Shift/Hours: Three 12-hour shifts (7A-7P) or three 8-hour shifts plus one 12-hour shift per week. Eight-hour shifts are 7A-3P or 3P-11P. Every other weekend is required, along with a holiday rotation.

Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN:

• Assists patients with activities of daily living
• Provides patients personal care and comfort
• Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients

Qualifications Education, Credentials, Licenses

• Certified in the state where work is being performed as Certified Nurse Assistant
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Completion of applicable state courses.
• Successful completion of Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
• Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry
• Must have CPR for the professional rescuer
