St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant for the Med Surg Unit at the Ft. Thomas Hospital. Shift patterns include three 12-hour shifts (7A–7P) or a mix of three 8-hour shifts plus one 12-hour shift weekly. Every other weekend and a holiday rotation are required.

The CNA provides direct and indirect patient care under RN/LPN supervision, assisting with ADLs, personal care, and environment safety for an assigned patient group.

Competenze

• Certified in the state where work is performed as Certified Nurse Assistant.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Successful completion of CNA exam required for certification.

Job Summary:

St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant for our Med Surg Unit located within the Ft. Thomas Hospital.

Shift/Hours: Three 12-hour shifts (7A-7P) or three 8-hour shifts plus one 12-hour shift per week. Eight-hour shifts are 7A-3P or 3P-11P. Every other weekend is required, along with a holiday rotation.

Job Description:

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN:

• Assists patients with activities of daily living
• Provides patients personal care and comfort
• Assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients

Qualifications

Education, Credentials, Licenses:

• Certified in the state where work is being performed as Certified Nurse Assistant
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Completion of applicable state courses.
• Successful completion of Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
• Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry
• Must have CPR for the professional rescuer

Specialized Knowledge:

• Demonstrates basic mathematical skills.

Kind and Length of Experience:

• Successful work employment history.
