St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant/Clerical Assistant for our Hospice Unit located at Edgewood Hospital. Shift: PRN, 7P-7A.

The role coordinates clerical functions, supports patient care under RN/LPN supervision, assists with activities of daily living, and helps maintain a safe, clean environment in a compassionate, team-based setting. CNA certification and CPR are required, with English proficiency expected.

Qualifications

• Certified CNA in the state of employment.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Successful completion of the CNA exam.
• Not listed on the State Abuse Registry; CPR is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide personal care and comfort to patients.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for an assigned group of patients.
• Coordinate and maintain unit clerical functions under RN/LPN supervision.

Education, Credentials, Licenses

• Certified in the state where work is being performed as Certified Nurse Assistant Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Completion of applicable state courses.
• Successful completion of Certified Nurse Assistant exam required for certification.
• Not listed on the applicable State Abuse Registry Must have CPR for the professional rescuer.
