Job summary

Novant Health Clemmons Medical Center Emergency Dept. seeks a full-time Nursing Assistant to support patient care from 1pm to 1am, under RN supervision. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

RN direction ensures proper documentation and patient comfort. Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and be NA I registered, with completion of the NAI program.

Qualifications

• Completion of NAI program is required.
• Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I is required.
• Medication Safety - AME is required.
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units is required.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: 1 year, preferred. 1 year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
