Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a CNA to provide and document assistance with activities of daily living for residents, under the supervision of a registered nurse, in an assisted living setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, reporting any changes to the Charge Nurse, and completing the NC NAI program with NA I registration requirements. Basic computer skills for documentation are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year experience preferred; assisted living/long-term care experience required.
• Completion of NAI program; listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I.
• Medication Safety - AME required; NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: One year preferred. Assisted Living facilities only: One year experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required
