Job summary

Novant Health in Danbury, NC is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents in a skilled nursing setting overnight. You will work closely with nurses to support daily living activities and promote dignity and safety for residents.

As a CNA you will assist with personal care, observe changes in condition, document care, and collaborate with the care team on individualized plans while maintaining a clean, respectful environment on a part-time night

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in Assisted Living facilities (long-term care or assisted living) is required.
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program; listed as NA I; Medication Safety - AME; NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire.

What We're Looking For

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Experience: 1 year of experiece in Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Completion of NAI program, required.
  • Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required.
  • Medication Safety - AME, required.
  • NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required.
• Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.
