Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Medical team at Lawrence Correctional Center in Sumner, Illinois. You will perform direct patient care for incarcerated individuals, assist with hygiene and daily living activities, and monitor vital signs under supervision.

The full-time night shift includes rotating weekends. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with IL CNA licensure and current CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• CNA certification required.
• CNA licensure in IL required.
• Training or certification as a nurse's aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred.
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under supervision.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, activities of daily living and vital sign monitoring.

We offer a $3/hour night differential and a $4/hour evening differential.

We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical team at Lawrence Correctional Center located in Sumner, Illinois.

CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Available Shift: Full-Time Night; The schedule includes rotating weekends.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
• CNA licensure in IL required
• Training, experience or certification as a nurse's aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
