Job summary

Centurion Health at Lawrence Correctional Center in Sumner, IL is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff. Shifts include days, evenings and nights with a 4-shift week (2 eight-hour shifts and 2 twelve-hour shifts).

Eligible candidates must hold an IL LPN license or be able to obtain one and maintain CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• LPN license in IL or ability to obtain one.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of RNs and medical/psychiatric staff.
• Respond to physical and behavioral health needs of incarcerated patients.

We offer shift differentials of $4/hour for evenings and $3/hours for nights. We offer an additional $1/hour on weekends.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Full-time/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Lawrence Correctional Center in Sumner, Illinois.

The LPN is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

Shifts: We're hiring for days, evenings and nights.

The schedule consists of 4 shifts/week (2 - 8 hour, 2 - 12 hour).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required


• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in IL or ability to obtain one required


• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)


• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
