Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical team at Lawrence Correctional Center in Sumner, Illinois. CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care for incarcerated individuals.

The role requires a CNA certification in Illinois, CPR/BLS, and a High School diploma or equivalent. Full-time night shift with rotating weekends is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals under supervision of nursing, medical, and psychiatric staff.
• Assist patients with personal hygiene, daily living activities, and monitoring of vital signs.
