Job summary

Human Touch Home Health in Blacksburg, VA is seeking compassionate CNAs for PRN home care opportunities in Blacksburg and surrounding communities. You will focus on one client at a time, delivering in-home care to help clients stay safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible at home.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia CNA Certification is required.
• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Home Care or Home Health experience preferred, but not required.
• Comfortable providing care in clients' homes.
• Ability to follow an established Plan of Care.

Responsibilities

• Bathing, grooming, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation.
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Medication reminders as permitted.
• Light housekeeping related to the client's care.
• Companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain a clean and safe home environment.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition.
• Follow the established plan of care.

What You'll Do

As a CNA with Human Touch Home Health, you may assist clients with:

• Bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Toileting and other activities of daily living
• Mobility, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance
• Medication reminders as permitted
• Light housekeeping related to the client's care
• Companionship and emotional support
• Maintaining a clean and safe home environment
• Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition
• Following the established plan of care

Most importantly, you'll provide the patience, dignity, respect, and human connection every client deserves.

What We're Looking For

• Active Virginia CNA Certification Required
• Current CPR Certification
• Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Dependable, compassionate, and professional
• Strong communication skills
