Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - General Purpose

The Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) is responsible for personal care and incidental activities of daily living for patients of all ages in inpatient facilities such as hospitals, nursing homes, and other institutions. Performs care and delegated tasks as directed by the nursing plan of care and/or supervisor, in accordance with facility policies and state law/regulations.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent, with successful completion of a Nursing Assistant course and certification as required by the state
• Students in the last year of RN school or unlicensed RN/LPN/LVN graduates may be eligible, depending on state law
• At least 1 year of experience in a comparable job classification or as required by the contracted facility
• Home care or hospice experience preferred
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination, medical exemption, or religious exemption
