Job summary

Person Memorial Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team, contributing to compassionate patient care within a Lifepoint Health network. You will support RNs, monitor vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain safe, clean patient areas.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• High School diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic patient care as delegated and supervised by an RN, including monitoring vital signs, possible blood glucose measurements, and accurate intake/output recording.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, eating, toileting, ambulation).
• Observes and promptly reports abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to nursing staff.
• Keeps patient rooms and common areas clean, safe, and appropriately stocked.
• Manages the tech desk; supports nursing/physician staff and department throughput.
• Documents care and activities per unit standards.

Requirements
