Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily care to residents in our team-focused facility. You will work closely with the care team to deliver high-quality service, emphasizing dignity, respect, and safety in every interaction.

Key duties include assisting with grooming, bathing, mobility and positioning, recording vitals and intake/output, maintaining a clean resident environment, and offering engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Current Texas Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• Able to record vitals, weights, intake/output accurately.
• Excellent communication and patient-centred approach.
• Cares for elderly and disabled with patience and respect.
• Understands Patient Bill of Rights and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, dressing.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens, stock supplies.
• Support Mobility: ambulate and transfer residents safely.
• Record Vital Information: document vitals, weights, intake/output, meals.
• Assist with Positioning: turn/reposition for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead ROM exercises and reality orientation.

In This Role, You Will

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines
• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked
• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
