Job summary

North Florida Rehabilitation Hospital is part of Lifepoint Health, a nationwide network focused on compassionate care. We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team and help patients through their recovery.

In this role you will assist with basic patient care, document measurements, support admissions and transfers, and maintain a safe, clean environment. CPR/BCLS certification is required or obtained on hire, and six months of acute or long-term

• Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• CPR/BCLS certification (may be obtained upon hire).
• Six months of experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient care tasks including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Provide general nursing support such as positioning, lifting, turning, and using special equipment.
• Assist with toileting needs using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation to the bathroom.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, blood pressure, and intake/output measurements accurately and document in a timely manner.
• Prepare patient rooms for admission and transfer, ensuring cleanliness and equipment readiness.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment with attention to ventilation and lighting.
• Support patient admission, transfer, and discharge procedures, including handling of patient belongings.
• Answer patient call lights, phones, and pages, responding promptly and appropriately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

How You'll Contribute

A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who excels in this role:

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current state certification as a Nursing Assistant. Additional requirements include:

• CPR/BCLS certification (may be obtained upon hire)


• Six months of experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred

Schedule: 3x12, Days (6:45am-7:00pm), rotating weekends
