Job summary

Great Plains Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our evening-night team. You will provide compassionate daily care, assist residents with grooming, mobility, and feeding, and document vitals and care activities.

You will work 5pm-5am, collaborate with care staff, and ensure safety, dignity, and adherence to the Patient Bill of Rights while delivering high-quality resident support.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas CNA certification and be in good standing.
• Ability to document vitals, intake/output accurately.
• Strong communication and patience with residents.
• Commitment to safety policies and patient rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: assist with grooming, bathing, pericare, dressing.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens, stock supplies.
• Support Mobility: safely ambulate and transfer residents with devices.
• Record Vital Information: accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead ROM exercises and reality orientation as directed.

We’re seeking a reliable and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! This role requires strong attendance, multitasking skills, and a professional, cooperative demeanor. You’ll play a key role in supporting our residents with daily care while working closely with the care team to provide high-quality service.

Your Impact as a Certified Nursing Assistant

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines
• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked
• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
