The ideal candidate holds a Texas CNA certification, can record vitals and care notes accurately, and communicates with patience and professionalism. You will assist with grooming, mobility, safety, and engagement to support residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Nursing Assistant from the State of Texas is required.
• Accurate documentation of vitals, weights, intake/output and meals.
• Strong communication, self-discipline and patience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: grooming, bathing, pericare, dressing.

You’ll play a key role in supporting our residents with daily care while working closely with the care team to provide high-quality service.

Your Impact as a Certified Nursing Assistant

In this role, you will:

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines

• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked

• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics

• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption

• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety

• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
