You will document vitals, assist with mobility, and ensure safety by following policy guidelines. This role requires reliability, strong attendance, and a cooperative demeanor to support residents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Can accurately record vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Communicates well and demonstrates self-discipline and patience.
• Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
• Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: assist with grooming, bathing, pericare, dressing.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens and stock supplies.
• Support Mobility: assist with ambulation and transfers using devices.
• Record Vital Information: document vitals, weights, intake/output, meals.

Your Impact as a Certified Nursing Assistant

• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked
• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
