Amarillo Center for Skilled Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our care team in Amarillo, TX. You will assist residents with daily activities, document vitals and meals, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Accurately records vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Communicates well and demonstrates self-discipline and patience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: assistance with grooming, bathing, pericare, and dressing per policy.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens and stock grooming supplies.
• Support Mobility: safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices.
• Record Vital Information: document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meals.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead ROM exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.

We’re seeking a reliable and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team! This role requires strong attendance, multitasking skills, and a professional, cooperative demeanor. You’ll play a key role in supporting our residents with daily care while working closely with the care team to provide high-quality service.

Your Impact as a Certified Nursing Assistant

• Provide Personal Care: Assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines
• Maintain Resident Environment: Change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked
• Support Mobility: Safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics
• Record Vital Information: Accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption
• Assist with Positioning: Turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety
• Encourage Engagement: Lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed
