Job summary

Addus HomeCare is seeking a CNA to provide in-home care for seniors and individuals with disabilities in a flexible, entry-level role. The position emphasizes consistent hours and meaningful work within a growing, values-driven organization. Daily pay options and supportive benefits are available across multiple locations.

The CNA will follow care plans, assist with personal care and daily tasks, and report changes in conditions while maintaining safety and quality of care in clients' homes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of in-home care services experience.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, energetic, self-motivated and well-organized.
• Comfortable using an electronic device.

Responsibilities

• Follow a care plan for the member, and report on completed tasks
• Support with personal care (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Support with routine house cleaning, laundry, and assist with meal preparation
• Transport client to appointments, daily errands, and other locations as necessary
• Assist member with the self-administration of medications (no administering or measuring)
• Observe and report any changes in member's condition
