Job summary

Corpus Christi Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in line with assessments and care plans. The shift is 6am–2pm and a CNA license plus a high school diploma are required or preferred.

You will assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility, measure vital signs, and report changes to the Charge Nurse, ensuring a safe, respectful long‑term care environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident assessments and care plans.
• Assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility while observing intake.
• Measure and record vital signs and report changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Identify situations that may cause accidents or injuries and report promptly.

Responsibilities

• The Certified Nurse Aide will provide assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident assessments and care plans.
• Assist resident in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair, nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls.
• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries.
• Contributes knowledge of resident’s conditions/needs to resident care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents to Charge Nurse.
