Primary Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily tasks such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake, hair and nail care, moving residents, responding to calls.
• Carry out duties in accordance with resident care policy and procedure.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of resident conditions/needs to care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Must hold a valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
• Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
