Job summary

The Fountains of Cartersville is seeking Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community.

This Full-Time position invites 2nd (3p-11p) and 3rd (11p-7a) shift coverage. Required: Medication Technician certification; availability for every-other-weekend rotations and holiday rotations. Team members gain access to Tapcheck for earned wages and a supportive payroll platform.

Qualifications

• Must have a Medication Technician certification.
• Available to work 2nd (3p-11p) or 3rd shift (11p-7a) and every other weekend/holiday rotations.
• Able to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff.
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information per HIPAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provides medication administration and resident care oversight.
• Promotes and protects residents’ rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and continuing education as required by state regulations.
• Maintains professional appearance and adheres to community dress code.
• Documents information in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Reports all changes in a resident’s condition to the supervisor promptly.
• Operates equipment safely and follows established policies and procedures.
• Adheres to infection control precautions and fire/safety procedures.
