The Fountains of Cartersville is seeking Certified Medication Technicians to provide safe medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge assisted living community.

This full-time role is on 1st shift (7a-3p); candidates must hold a Medication Technician certification and be available for every other weekend and holiday rotations. Join a team dedicated to dignity, privacy and high standards of care with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma and be at least 18 years old.
• Successful completion of a State Approved Medication Aide course is required.
• Personal Care Assistant or Certified Nursing Certification is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a positive working relationship with residents, family members and staff.
• Promotes and protects residents rights and treats residents with dignity and respect.
• Attends in-service and education programs and completes continuing education as required by state regulations.
• Maintains confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Documentation is completed in an informative and descriptive manner.
• All changes in a resident’s condition are reported to the supervisor.
