Morningside House of Towamencin in Lansdale, PA is seeking Certified Medication Technicians (CMTs) for full-time and part-time roles. You will administer oral and topical medications to residents under the supervision of licensed staff, following physician orders and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medication Technician certification required.
• Ability to administer medications and follow physician orders.
• Knowledge of five rights of medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications as ordered under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Demonstrates five rights of medication administration and records meds given.
• May take and record resident vital signs as needed.
• Maintains accurate medication records in the electronic system.
• Observes and reports reactions or side effects to a licensed nurse.
• Ensures infection control and uses universal precautions.
