Job summary

EverTrue in Missouri is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to provide medication administration and personal care under nursing supervision. You will observe residents, document, assist with meals, and support daily activities while respecting privacy.

You will join an interdisciplinary team, participate in care planning, and ensure safety and dignity. The role requires current CMT certification, a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and a commitment to person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current CMT certification in the state of practice.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• CPR certification and first aid training.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and administers medication to residents under nursing supervision and documents accordingly.
• Provides medical and physical care to residents to meet daily needs.
• Assists residents with personal care and maintains their dignity by promoting independence.
• Observes residents for changes and reports to nursing staff.
• Participates in resident care/service planning to improve quality of life.
• Assists with mealtimes and feeding when needed.
• Builds relationships with residents and families and supports daily activities.
• Assists with therapies and treatments under licensed personnel guidance.
• Respects privacy and HIPAA; follows safety protocols and EverTrue policies.
• Documents vitals and relevant information in the EHR.
• Responds to incoming calls and supports department administrators as needed.
