Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a per-diem Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join Idaho State Correctional Institution in Kuna, ID. The CMT works under RN supervision to administer medications, document dosages, and monitor patients.

The role requires a Medical Aide certification (or ability to obtain) and CPR/AED; TB documentation must be current. Prior year of acute, emergency, or correctional care is preferred; onboarding offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Aide certification (or ability to obtain) with approval for medication administration.
• Current tuberculosis documentation and CPR/AED certification required.
• One year of experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with medication administration and documentation of dosages and times.
• Take vital signs and assist in examinations and treatments.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and report changes in conditions.
• Provide general support to nursing staff and ensure patient safety.

The CMT takes vital signs, assists in examinations and treatments, and assists patients with activities of daily living.
