Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a per diem Certified Medication Technician for Idaho State Correctional Institution in Kuna, ID. The CMT assists nurses with medication administration, documents dosages, and monitors patients under supervision.

You will take vital signs, assist in exams and treatments, and help patients with daily living activities while ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. Background checks and security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Aide certification (or ability to obtain) with approval for medication administration required.
• Maintain TB documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
• Pass a background check and obtain security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under RN direction and document dosages/times.
• Take vital signs and assist in examinations/treatments.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Monitor patients and report changes to medical staff.

The CMT takes vital signs, assists in examinations and treatments, and assists patients with activities of daily living.
