Job summary

NHC HealthCare West Plains is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to prepare, administer, and chart medications in a geriatric care setting. You will support nursing staff and ensure accurate medication management in AM and PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Missouri CMT (certified medication technician) certificate is required.
• Must be caring, compassionate, and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and chart medications by all routes except those given by the parental route.
• Chart vital signs, intake and output and monthly weights to assist the charge nurse.
• Reorder medications as needed in a timely manner.
• Put medications away when received from pharmacy. Monitor for drug discrepancy.
