Job summary

NHC HealthCare West Plains is seeking a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) to join our geriatric care team. You will safely prepare, administer, and document medications for residents, while monitoring vital signs and weight to support the charge nurse.

Qualifications

• Missouri CMT certification is required.
• Must be caring, compassionate and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and chart medications by all routes except those given by the parent route.
• Chart vital signs, intake and output, and monthly weights to assist the charge nurse.
• Reorder medications as needed in a timely manner.
• Put medications away when received from pharmacy. Monitor for drug discrepancy.
