Job summary

Aspire Senior Living in Cassville, Missouri is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to join our care team. You will administer medications, provide personal care, and promote independence and dignity for our residents in a warm, resident-centered environment.

This role covers day and evening full-time shifts, including weekends. You will monitor responses to medications, document care, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification in Missouri.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with assistance.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor residents' responses to medications and report adverse reactions.
• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as eating, toileting, and transferring.
• Implement care plans and resident-centered interventions to promote independence and dignity.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and internal teams to ensure seamless care.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of resident care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
