Job summary

Country Meadows in Frederick, MD is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to manage medications for our residents in a home-like setting, building relationships and contributing to overall health.

Starting pay ranges from $19.25 to $23 per hour, with opportunities for shift differentials on evening and overnight shifts. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, a 401(k) match, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Licensed Certified Medication Technician with the MD Board of Nursing in good standing.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Up-to-date medication certification preferred.
• Highly organized with the ability to perform the physical tasks required.
• Ability to understand and speak English for safe, efficient performance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with residents, administer medications and treatments, observing day-to-day behavior and outlook to ensure comfort and well-being.
• Manage medications with residents in a home-like setting and observe overall health.
• Maintain the medication cart with complete, up-to-date supplies and quality control.
• Use Point of Service technology to obtain meal orders from residents as needed.
• Provide social and emotional support while encouraging residents’ independence.
