Position: Certified Medication Technician

Location: Decatur Health & Rehab

Key Responsibilities:

1. Administer medications to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers.
2. Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medications.
3. Document and record all medications administered during shifts.
4. Ensure medication storage areas are secure and organized.
5. Collaborate with nursing and pharmacy staff to ensure accurate medication inventory.
6. Update patient medication profiles and report any discrepancies.
7. Provide basic patient care as required.

Qualifications:

1. Valid certification as a Medication Technician.
2. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
4. A commitment to providing high-quality care and hospitality.
5. Knowledge of medication administration procedures and regulations.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
