Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Lilburn, GA is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents safely, accurately, and with dignity.

This role helps prevent medication errors, monitors health changes, and protects resident safety through careful documentation in MAR/TAR, adherence to Six Rights, infection control, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Certification in Medication Administration required.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma/GED; age 18
• Medication Administration certification
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Senior care experience preferred

Pay Range:

16.40 - 20.55
