Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely and with dignity. Responsibilities include administering medications per orders, documenting accurately, and observing residents for changes, while maintaining clean medication areas and following safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid certification, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.

What You’ll Do: Administer medications and treatments per physician orders Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time Observe residents during and after medication passes Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief Report refusals or concerns promptly Complete narcotic counts per policy Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms Follow infection control and safety standards You play a critical role in preventing medication errors, identifying health changes early, and protecting resident safety through attention to detail and regulatory compliance. Pay Range:

18.65 - 23.45
