Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND seeks a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse. You will administer medications as delegated, document care outcomes, and support psycho-social needs of residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• State-specific CNA and/or medication aide certifications may be required depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Record vital signs and document outcomes of care and medication administration.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
