Job summary

The Blossoms is seeking a Certified Medication Assistant to support nursing staff in Berryville. The CMA will safely administer medications and assist with resident care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Qualified candidates will have an active Arkansas CMA license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have current Arkansas State CMA license and be able to provide documentation.
• Must be able to administer medications safely under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, inhaled, topical, ocular, and other medications as directed.
• Monitor residents and report drug reactions or concerns to the nurse.
• Record medications given on MAR and document patient responses.
• Assist with lifts, transfers, and patient mobility.
• Attend meetings and in-services as required.
