Job summary

SAN-Antonio-Wellness-and-Rehabilitation-Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) who operates under the direct supervision of the charge nurse to ensure timely and accurate med passes and high-quality resident care.

Requirements include English communication skills, prior patient care experience preferred, and current CMA certification. Full-time position with weekend scheduling and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to the Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.

Your Job Summary

The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is under the direct supervision of the charge nurse. The charge nurse will follow up with the CMA to ensure the med pass is completed timely and accurately to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.
