Job summary

San Antonio Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to assist with medication administration under direct supervision of the charge nurse. The CMA ensures med passes are completed timely and accurately to maintain high-quality resident care.

This is a Full-Time position with a Double Weekend schedule and benefits including Healthcare, Dental, Vision, PTO and 401K; CMA certification is required and prior patient care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have strong English communication skills in speech and writing.
• Prior patient care experience is preferred.
• Current certification for Medication Aide is required.

Responsibilities

• Reports promptly any change of patient condition or other concerns to Patient Care Supervisor.
• Follow charting guidelines for PRN documentation.
• Reports medication reorder.
• Participates in all assigned meetings, trainings, education and in-service as required.
• Inventory documentation of drugs on appropriate forms.
• Current certification for Medication Aide.
