Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking a certified Medication Aide to provide essential medication administration and supportive care in a senior living setting. The role includes documentation, daily living assistance, and vital signs monitoring, with a focus on resident safety and comfort.

Two shifts are available: full-time 2 pm–10 pm and part-time 11 pm–7 am, with daily Pay options and opportunities for growth within a team-focused environment. Starting pay is competitive at $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Certified medication aide with experience passing meds.
• Completion of a medication administration course.
• CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, continence, transportation).
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Communicate effectively with team, residents and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

MUST BE A CERTIFIED MEDICATION AIDE WITH EXPERIENCE PASSING MEDS

Full time 2 pm- 10 pm position available

Role:Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities:

Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.

Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.

• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.

Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.

Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an approved medication administration course.
• Successful completion of a nurse aide training course if state regulated.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
• Successful completion of a CPR and First Aid course.
