Job summary

Juniper Communities is seeking Certified Med Tech/CARE AIDE professionals for PRN shifts across all roles in a Texas senior living setting. Weekend availability is required.

Pay starts at $18 for certified staff and $17 for uncertified, with DailyPay on-demand pay options. Responsibilities include medication administration and documentation, daily living assistance, vital signs checks, and strong resident/family communication.

Qualifications

• Medication administration courses completed or in progress.
• Nurse aide training per state regulations.
• CPR and First Aid certification completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence, appointments, transport, dining).
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Communicate effectively with team, residents and families.

PRN positions available all shifts, weekend availability required

Pay: Starting at $17.00 uncertified and $18 for certified

Role: Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities:

Assist with medication administration and documentation for residents in a senior living setting.

Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.

• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.

Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.

Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an approved medication administration course. (preferred
• Successful completion of a nurse aide training course if state regulated.
• Knowledge of the physiology and psychology of the older adult.
• Successful completion of a CPR and First Aid course.
