Juniper Communities is seeking care aides to provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent. The role requires a Med Tech certificate and Direct Caregiver Certification, and includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vitals, and coordinating with the care team and families.

Full-time, part-time and PRN shifts are available, with every other weekend coverage required.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent (Required).
• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred).
• Med Tech Certificate (Required).

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, continence management, transportation, appointments, dining, Juniper programs).
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Communicate effectively with team, residents and families; provide excellent customer service.

Role: Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, use of the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
• Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
• Effectively communicate with other members of the team, residents, and families.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Requirements

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Med Tech Certificate (Required)
