Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team in Oklahoma. You will coordinate medication administration and assist residents with activities of daily living, ensuring comfort and safety throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include administering meds, assisting with daily care, documenting tasks, and communicating needs to the Health Care Director. Shift schedules may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification is required.
• Must be able to pass medications per state regulations.
• Experience with resident care and daily living activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications for assigned residents.
• Assist with daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals, and a clean living environment.
• Monitor residents' comfort and respond to needs.
• Document tasks such as shift reports and resident records accurately.
• Communicate urgent needs and concerns clearly to Health Care Director and team.
• Manage tasks within the scheduled shift to ensure smooth operations.

Job Highlights

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.). You will make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift

Bonus Opportunities

• Perfect attendance bonus—$75 for full-time (up to a $1,950 annual benefit) and $35 for part-time (up to a $910 annual benefit)
