Legend Senior Living in Cape Coral, FL is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. You will coordinate medication administration for residents and support daily living activities, helping to ensure comfort and safety in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication for all assigned residents.
• Assisting with daily resident care including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, meals, and social interactions.
• Monitoring residents' physical and emotional comfort and responding accordingly.
• Documenting tasks such as daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicating urgent needs and concerns clearly to Health Care Director and staff.
• Managing tasks within the scheduled shift.

Job Highlights

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the nursing team as a Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.). You will make a difference in the lives of residents by coordinating their medication administration and assisting them with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift

Bonus opportunities

• Perfect attendance bonus—$75 for full-time (up to a $1,950 annual benefit) and $35 for part-time (up to a $910 annual benefit)
