Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Record medication administration accurately in the computer system.
• Monitor residents for adverse reactions and report to licensed staff.
• Respect residents' rights and maintain their safety and comfort.
• Take and document vital signs as assigned or required by medications.
• Respond to resident calls and anticipate care needs during shifts.
• Ensure medications are ingested and not left at the bedside.
