Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to assist in administering medications to residents per physician orders, under the supervision of the nursing staff.

You will adhere to facility policies and state regulations, while maintaining resident privacy and dignity. You will confidently prepare, administer, and document medications, report refusals or adverse effects, and support the nursing team in daily duties.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CMA certification in good standing with state.
• CPR certification required.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and charting.
• Fluent in reading/writing/speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by the physician under supervision.
• Follow facility policies and nursing standards for med administration.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Document medication administration accurately and promptly.
• Report refusals, adverse reactions, or errors immediately.
• Assist with following self-administered med procedures and safety protocols.
